CCP for OTC

The launch of cats in the Amsterdam market will be with the benefit of a CCP

The cats-settlement solution included the prospect to add an integrated clearing and settlement service. We are pleased the Dutch regulator (AFM) has approved EMCF to extend its services to:

• provide clearing and settlement for trades which have been executed on a bilateral basis via CATS.
• broaden its range of Financial Instruments to include Structured Products.

Following the 2011 launch of cats in Amsterdam we will make this service widely available to existing flows and new OTC bi-lateral trading.
